Explore FASD’s Charter
Curious about how FASD is supposed to operate? The school’s Charter Agreement with DPS is a good place to start. At nearly 100 pages, it isn’t exactly light reading—but it describes FASD’s purpose, academic model, obligations, and governance and accountability expectations. Those are important reference points as the Board prepares to refresh the school’s strategic plan.
To make the agreement more digestible, we built an Ask the Charter tool. It organizes questions we’ve been curious about and connects the answers directly to the underlying charter language. My hope is that it becomes a quick, source-linked reference that helps parents understand the commitments our Board and administration are responsible for carrying out—and what it will take to keep FASD compliant and headed in the right direction.
